World Bank delegation to visit Fani hit-Odisha today

Bhubaneswar: A delegation of the World Bank will visit Odisha today to assess the damage caused by the extremely severe cyclonic storm Fani.

As per the schedule, the delegation will meet the Chief Secretary of Odisha at 4 pm today and will also hold discussions with the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at around 6 pm at the state secretariat here.

Notably, the near super cyclone, Fani, made landfall at Puri on May 3 causing extensive damage across the state. Three most important cities of Odisha- Puri, Bhubaneswar, and Cuttack were worst affected by the cyclone.
