Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) on Monday revealed that suspects used fake Facebook accounts to befriend Kamlesh Tiwari.
The reports said a local leader in Gujarat told the state ATS that a man named Ashfaq created a fake account on Facebook with the fake name of ‘Rohit Solanki’ in June.
The local leader also claimed that Rohit Solanki and Kamlesh Tiwari were scheduled to meet on October 18, the day when the Hindu Samaj Party leader was shot dead at his residence in the Naka area in Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier on Saturday, three people were arrested from Surat in a joint operation carried out by Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat Police. After their arrest they were granted 72-hour transit remand by an Ahmedabad court.
