Bhubaneswar: Sudarsan Pattnaik, the award-winning sand sculptor from Puri, added another feather to his cap after he was featured in the New York Times magazine.
The short and simple script titled “How to Build a Sand Castle” also acknowledged Sudarsan’s point of view regarding the danger the marine environment is in including a hint towards the devastating Cyclone Fani and how the government successfully evacuated lakhs of people.

The article revolved around Sudarsan, who has participated in more than 60 sand-sculpture competitions and festivals, travelled all over the world, held a Guinness World Record, and has been decorated with two honorary doctorates and one of India’s highest civilian awards.
