New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held meeting with key secretaries to finalize his government’s 100-day agenda for reviving economy.
The meeting took place ahead of the first budget of the new Modi government.
Official sources said the emphasis was on reviving the sagging economy. The issue of high unemployment in the country was taken up minutely, sources said .
News agencies quoting official sources said all five secretaries in the finance ministry and other important ministries, along with the top officials of the Niti Aayog, attended the meeting at Prime Minister’s residence.
Reports said the five-year vision for the government, with an aim to achieve $5 trillion economy goal in a short period of time, was also deliberated during the meeting.
Important issues relating to PM-KISAN, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, electricity and piped water for all were also discussed.
