Oil India Limited donates Rs 3.2 cr for cylone-hit Odisha


Bhubaneswar: Oil India Limited (OIL), the premier Indian National Oil Company, on Monday donated a sum of Rs 3.2 crore to the Special Relief Commissioner, Odisha.

The General Manager of OIL, Rajeev Singhal, informed that a cheque of Rs 3.2 crore has been handed over to the SRC as a help to rebuild and restore Odisha post-Cyclone Fani.

Besides this, the Fani-affected people of Odisha will be able to avail 10 lakh litre kerosene for free.

The move came after, the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas advised the PSU to contribute an amount through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds that will fulfill the requirement of 1000 kl of SKO.
