Bhubaneswar: Odia short film ‘Sanjog’ directed by Ashutosh Pattnaik entered the GLOBAL CITIZEN Smartphone Short Film Festival.

The short film based on Autism tries to send a message to society that there is no difference between specially-abled and others.

Suresh Mishra and Sudhashri have played the lead characters in the short film which has received warm appreciation.

This juried Smartphone Short Film Festival is open to everyone with a Smartphone around the world and is an invitation to share your vision of what it means to be a “global citizen,” a responsible member of our world today.

A “global citizen” is someone who is aware of and understands the wider world – and their place in it. It requires that we see the world as a globe of interconnected persons and are prepared to take responsibility for our roles and its effect on all of earth’s inhabitants. It means taking an active role and working with others to make our planet more equal, compassionate, fair, peaceful and sustainable.

It is more essential than ever that one’s identity transcends geography or religious, ethnic, political and nationalistic borders, and instead sees their membership to be in a broader global community called “humanity.”
