Ind vs SA, 2nd Test, Day 3: India Eye To Bundle Out Proteas

Pune: India will be looking to bundle out South Africa on the third day of the second test at Pune on Saturday. Virat and his boys are in an excellent position as they have restricted the visitors to 36/3, after scoring 601.

With the first two days of the ongoing Test being a more of a batsman days out at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, it’s time for the Indian bowling unit to let the ball do all the taking on Saturday.

The third day’s play resumes with India in hunt of those remaining 7 scalps.

Virat Kohli’s sensational double hundred had propelled the team to a mammoth total of 601/5 in the first innings. Kohli remained unbeaten on 254 when he decided to declare the innings.

Meanwhile, Mayank Agarwal made a fine century while Ravindra Jadeja fell just nine runs short of his century.

Before stumps on Day 2, India reduced South Africa to 36/3. Umesh Yadav picked two wickets while Mohammed Shami took a wicket. India will aim to put more misery on their opponents by picking early wickets on Day 3.
