World’s heaviest woman Eman Ahmed sister says no miracle weight-Loss, ‘everything a Lie’

Mumbai: : Eman Ahmed’s weight loss treatment in Mumbai has taken an unexpected turn on Monday, with her sister Shaimaa Selim alleging that doctors treating the world’s heaviest woman have been lying about her health and recovery.

In a video uploaded online, Shaimaa called bariatric surgeon Dr Muffazal Lakdawala, who has been treating Eman, a ‘liar’ adding that he is not giving right/factual updates about her sister’s recovery.

She said that Eman’s health is delicate, her pallor has turned blue and she has suffered a second stroke and several epileptic fits since landing in Mumbai.

However, doctors and administrators of Saifee Hospital, which has been Eman and Shaimaa’s address in the city, denied all the allegations.

Meanwhile, on April 21, it was reported that 36-year-old Egyptian Eman Ahmed, who was the heaviest woman in the world at 500-plus kg until a few months ago, had lost 250 kg in two months after undergoing surgery at Saifee Hospital in Mumbai.
