Bhubaneswar: The entrance examinations for admissions into various post-graduate courses at Utkal University for the year 2019-20 will be conducted from July 5 to July 13.
The entrance examinations will be held for 27 PG department and self-financing courses for which students can fill-up forms till June 20.
The admit cards for the entrance examinations will be issued from June 21 to 30. Students can download their admit cards from the official website of the varsity www.utkaluniversity.nic.in.
However, the varsity authorities have not issued notification regarding the entrance tests for M.Phil and Ph.D courses. Reports say that the authorities have brought reforms in the examination pattern which resulted in the delay.
On the other hand, resentment is brewing among the aspirants for the M.Phil and Ph.D courses.
Speaking on the issue PG Council chairperson Professor Sabita Acharya said, “We are planning to publish the results of M.Phil and Ph.D courses this month. The admission process in the two courses delayed due to cyclone Fani. We are also planning to bring some changes in the entrance examination pattern and syllabus.”
