Ahmednagar: Union Minister and BJP leader Nitin Gadkari has suffered bouts of dizziness here Friday, but later shifted to hospital.
His condition is stated to be stable.
The incident occurred when the Union Minister was here on the stage for convocation ceremony of Rahuri Krishi Vidhyapeet.
Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Maharashtra Governor Vidyasagar Rao and other guests were present on stage for function on Friday.
After the speech was over and the National Anthem played Nitin Gadkari felt dizziness on stage. Governor Vidyasagar Rao was beside him.
The Union Minister was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. Gadkari is undergoing a medical checkup and his condition is stable.
Gadkari reached Shirdi by helicopter and went to the Rahuri Krishi Vidhyapeeth for function. He delivered speech at the function for nearly half an hour.
