Terrorists set free family members of J&K cops
Srinagar: All family members of police personnel who were abducted by militants in last two days from South Kashmir were freed last evening. They also set free the family member of CRPF personal abducted earlier in the day from Bijbehera.
The terrorist set free the family members after the Jammu Kashmir police released the arrested family members of the militants.
According to reports, Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander Naikoo claimed responsibility for the abductions in an audio and asked for release of family members of all militants in police custody within three days.
Earlier, the police had arrested the relatives of terrorists including Asadullah Naikoo, father of Reyaz Naikoo, a self-styled “commander” of the Hizbul Mujahideen terror group, after four policemen were killed in a major terror attack on Wednesday.
Two houses of terrorists were also set on fire. Asadullah Naikoo was among those who have been released from police custody.
Targeting upon the incident, Naikoo abducted the kin of the policemen on Wednesday and Thursday.
