Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha who was admitted in Apollo Hospitals here on September 22, may be discharged in 2 weeks, a senior AIADMK leader said on Monday.
He said all her vital health parameters are now under control and she is being treated for physiotherapy. Decision on shifting her from Critical Care Unit (CCU) to a private room has taken by the doctors, AIADMK leader said to reply a question.
It is noteworthy to mention here that Jayalalitha was hospitalized for fever and dehydration on September but as her health condition deteriorated she was kept in critical care unit and under constant monitoring at Chennai based Apollo Hospitals.
After dedicated efforts from doctors she is showing good response towards treatment. Earlier on Friday the hospital Chairman Prathap Reddy also said her most crucial part of treatment was over and now that she could be released very soon.
Notably, rumors and conjectures had been circulated falsely in social media about the chief minister’s health condition which the party has refuted as false and baseless.
