Suspected ISIS operatives arrested in Gujarat


Ahmedabad: In a major breakthrough, the Gujarat Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested two persons from Rajkot and Bhavnagar in Gujarat for their alleged links with ISIS.

The Gujarat ATS has arrested two brothers named Wasim and Nayeem from the state for their alleged involvement in activities related to the terror group ISIS.

As per sources, the two arrested terror suspects were allegedly planning a bomb blast in Chotila Mandir.

Earlier this month, the NIA arrested a Kerala resident, in connection with its probe in alleged ISIS module.

Last year, the ATS of Rajasthan had arrested an alleged Islamic State operative in Sikar district who was involved in collecting and transferring funds for the terror organisation from Dubai.
