Mumbai: The makers of Super 30 have released the first song of the movie, Jugraafiya, and the love ballad shows Hrithik Roshan romancing Mrunal Thakur.
Sung by Udit Narayan and Shreya Ghoshal, the second half of the two-minute-forty-seconds song shows that their relationship blossomed as they were seen talking to each other over phone all the time.
The lyrics and the setting ingeniously mix maths, the subject Kumar teaches, with pleasing music.
The song begins when Kumar mesmerised by Thakur’s character as her classical dancing makes Kumar’s heart skip a beat.
The story of Super 30 is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational program. Hrithik will be playing the role of Kumar, while the character of his on-screen wife will be portrayed by actress Mrunal Thakur, famous for playing the role of Bulbul in the television show Kumkum Bhagya.
Super 30 is an educational program which was started in Patna by a Math teacher named Anand Kumar. The program selects 30 talented candidates each year from economically underprivileged sections of the society and trains them for the engineering entrance exam.
By 2018, 422 out of the 480 students had made it to the IITs and Discovery Channel showcased Kumar’s work in a documentary. When Anand Kumar was young, his parents could not afford private schooling for their children.
