Bhubaneswar: Odisha government on Wednesday announced facilitation for Aadhar cards for students appearing next year’s JEE mains exams scheduled to be held in month of April.
Such facilities for enrolling the Aadhar will be ensured in all block and civic bodies across the state, Minister Sanjay Das Burma said. The Centre has also set up 240 centres to enable Aadhaar digitization of the students.
Notably, the form fill up for this coveted exam in the country has already begun and is due to end by January 2. Since the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had made Aadhar card mandatory for all students appearing for JEE (mains) 2017 students have to furnish their Aadhar details during their form fill up.
For the applicants who are not having Aadhaar, the CBSE has specially set up facilitation centres in each city of examination for the purpose of Aadhaar enrolment. The applicants can approach such facilitation centres who will not charge any amount from any applicant for Aadhaar enrolment. The list of the facilitation centre is available on www.jeemain.nic.in.
Applicants who have enrolled but not received their Aadhar can enter their 28 digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID printed on the Aadhaar enrolment slip at the time of filling online application form.
In worst case if such facilities are not available at the designated centres then students can submit a request for the same and will be issued a registration number.
