Second Traffic Police Station to come up soon in city
Bhubaneswar: In a bid to curb the rising cases of traffic rules violation and tackle traffic problems, the Commissionerate of police has decided to establish a second Traffic Police Station in the city soon.
Informing about the decision, Commissioner YB Khurania said that the second traffic police station would come up at Chandrasekharpur, one of busiest area of the state capital. A proposal in this regard has been submitted to the state government.
The proposed traffic police station will have 2 jeeps and 15 motorcycles, he said.
Presently, the Commissionerate police have only one traffic police station near AG Square.
