Bhubaneswar: Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon has refuted allegations that she shot an advertisement inside a no-camera zone inside the premises of Sri Lingaraj Temple here.
Tandon’s clarification followed Lingaraj Temple authorities lodging an FIR against her, in which the complaint alleged that she had shot an advertisement in the ‘No Camera Zone’ inside the premises of the 11th century lord Shiva shrine, which is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
The incident come to the fore after a video surfaced on social media showing Tandon offering beauty tips inside the temple premises and it is recorded by a person with a mobile phone. She had visited the temple on Sunday.
Tandon, in a tweet, however suggested that she wasn’t responsible for the photo being shot. “Please see the lady in the picture. She is a local and had her mobile phone in her hand. While I did not,” Tandon said, attaching a photo of the incident published by an Odisha publication.

“The temple administration has filed a complaint against Raveena Tandon at Lingaraj Police Station for shooting an advertisement film in the no camera zone,” said Rajiv Lochan Parida, the management-in-charge of the temple administration.
