Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Saturday appointed former captain of Odisha Ranji team Rashmi Ranjan Parida as new coach of Odisha cricket team.
Parida has been posted in the place of Debashis Mohanty after BCCI on Friday appointed him as a member of India’s junior selection committee. Similarly, Kulamani Parida has been appointed as the selector of the state team.
Parida made his debut in 1994 and played for Odisha till 2008. Later, he played for Assam in 2008-09, for Rajasthan between 2010-13, for Vidharba region of Eastern Maharastra in 2013 and for Himachal Pradesh between 2014-15.
