Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Centre (IMD) informed that the cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal near southern Odisha will trigger rainfall for 4-5 days across the state.
The regional centre’s duty officer, Sudarsan Mishra, stated that the cyclonic circulation near southern Odisha coastal belt will result in light to moderate rainfall in several places in southern districts of the state in the next 24 hours.
The condition will prevail for the next three days across the state.
Reportedly, Southern Odisha witnessed rain last night following which Gopalpur recorded 93 mm rainfall.
The system will induce fresh monsoon rains over Odisha. Under its impact, light to moderate rain is likely to lash several parts of the State.
