Rahul Gandhi’s name proposed in Guinness Book of World Records for losing 27 elections
New Delhi: An engineering student from Madhya Pradesh has proposed the name of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, in the Guinness Book of World Records for losing maximum number of elections in the country.
As per sources, Vishal Diwan – an engineering student from Hoshangabad has written to the administration of Guinness Books of World Records to enlist Rahul Gandhi’s name for losing as many as 27 elections in the country.
Vishal has also paid the enrollment fees for the same.
He has received a confirmation of acceptance of his application, it is still unclear as to whether the US-based organisation will consider or approve his request, sources said.
This comes at a time when Congress has faced humiliating defeats in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh and also lost chance of ruling Goa and Manipur.
Notably, recently Rahul Gandhi was massively trolled on social media when he forgot the total number of seats in Uttar Pradesh Assembly at a joint press conference with Akhilesh Yadav.
