Jammu: National Conference (NC) chief Farooq Abdullah has said that attacks like Pulwama will continue till the Kashmir issue is resolved politically.
Abdullah said that the people of Kashmir should not be blamed for the attack.
He said he was deeply concerned over the ill-treatment of Kashmiri students and businessmen residing outside the state.
The NC chief’s comments has sparked off controversy as the nation is in deep mourning following the dastardly killing of CRPF troopers in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.
The NC president further reiterated that Kashmiris have no links with the terror outfits and that they are not responsible for the Pulwama terror attack.
Abdullah alleged that some forces are trying to create a rift among the people, while saying that he “will not allow them to succeed” in their attempts.
Worthwhile to mention here that on Thursday, 40 CRPF personnel were martyred and several others injured after a Jaish-e-Mohammed ultra of Pakistan based terrorist outfit, rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into CRPF convoy on Jammu-Srinagar highway in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
