Mumbai: In the wake of the recent terrorist attack in Pulwama, Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series has pulled down all the songs from their YouTube channel that were sung by Pakistani singers.
The move by the prestigious music label came after Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), on Saturday, asked all the music companies to stop working with Pakistani artists.
Having recently collaborated with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam for two different singles, the music company immediately removed Atif’s recently released song, Baarishein.
Amey Khopkar, head of the MNS Chitrapat Sena said that the outfit has verbally communicated to Indian music companies including T-Series, Sony Music, Venus, and Tips Music etc to not work with Pakistani singers.
Meanwhile, Bharat actor Salman Khan has contributed to the families of the martyrs through the ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ fund, a trust created by the Home Ministry. Salman offered help through his own charity fund, Being Human Foundation.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Union Minister of Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, thanked the actor.
