Patha Utsav to have anti-corruption theme on March 19


Bhubaneswar: With completion of 60 years of existence, the Odisha State Vigilance is going to celebrate its Diamond Jubilee Year in 2017 through massive awareness campaigns on anti-corruption themes at  Patha Utsav, on coming Sunday, will be having its theme cantered around fight against corruption.

The Patha Utsav on March 19th will also have a specially designed logo with a catch line “Let’s Fight Corruption’’.

The Star Attraction of the day would be Krishna Beura, the gifted singer from the City of Dreams, Mumbai, who is famous for classic songs like “Maula Mere” from the film Chak de India, “Rabba” (Musafir) and “Soniyo from the Heart” (Raaz-2).

Popular Odia movie stars Sabyasachi and Archita will participate in the function and endorse the anti-corruption campaign.

Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi, Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary R. Balakrishnan and Director Vigilance Dr. RP Shamra will be present, among others.
