Pak violates ceasefire in Pooch, Army retaliates
Srinagar: The Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing of small and heavy arms violating ceasefire in the Mankot sector area along the Line of Control (LoC) of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch, on Sunday morning. The Indian Army has been retaliating efficiently and effectively.
Defence Ministry sources said heavy shelling and firing started between the two armies in Mendhar and Mankote areas. “After the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked shelling and firing at Indian positions, Indian military retaliated strongly and effectively,” an official said. “Shelling and firing exchanges are going on.”
