OPCC chief Niranjan Patnaik files nomination for Bhandaripokhari Assembly seat

Bhadrak: Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Niranjan Patnaik on Monday filed his nomination papers for the upcoming elections from Bhandaripokhari Assembly seat.

Patnaik, accompanied by several senior Congress leaders and hundreds of the party workers submitted the nomination papers before the returning officer at Bhadrak Sub-collector.

The OPPC chief also shared the news on his twitter handle and wrote: ” I am overwhelmed by the love and support by the people of Bhandaripokhari during the filing of my nomination today. I promise them that I will put in my best efforts for their welfare & betterment. Let’s work together to build a better future.”

Worth mentioning here that, Patnaik, who will be contesting from two Assembly seats, had earlier filed nomination from Ghasipura Assembly Constituency on April 2.
