Odisha’s Lipika Seth Successfully Scales Russia’s Highest Peak Mount Elbrus

Bargarh: Lipika Seth from Odisha’s Bargarh district successfully scaled Mount Elbrus (5,642 metre), the highest peak in Russia on Thursday.

Notably, on Tuesday, Lipika had reached the base camp along with two other co-mountaineers.

Lipika is the daughter of Laxman Seth and Anusuya Seth of Banjipali under Dalaba panchayat in Bhaden block. Previously, she climbed the highest Mount Kilimanjaro (5895 metres) of Africa, sources said.

Mount Elbrus is the highest mountain in Europe and the tenth most prominent peak of the world, located at the intersection of Europe and Asia.
