Odisha’s Anita Pattanayak takes charge as new Deputy CAG
Bhubaneswar: Odisha-born senior bureaucrat Anita Pattanayak today took charge as Deputy Comptroller of Auditor General.
A notification in this regard was issued by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) yesterday.
She has pursued her higher education from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi and London School of Economics.
The 1982 batch officer of Indian Audit and Accounts Service has also served as Principal Accountant General of Karnataka.
Pattanayak hails from Cuttack and is the daughter of former Odisha DGP late Kishore Chandra Pattanayak.
Worth mentioning, she is the first Odia woman to achieve such distinction. Prior to this, she has served as the Auditor General in Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal, and Odisha.
