Bhubaneswar: In an effort to inculcate scientific temper among students from an early age, Odisha government has decided to introduce robotics in the course curriculum in select schools across the state.
In the first phase, the robotics course will be introduced on a pilot basis in 10 model schools in the state. The students will also be imparted practical training on drone technology, robot and artificial intelligence.

“A Bengaluru-based firm had sent a proposal to our government after its tie-up with the Karnataka Government. They will extend their reach in Odisha with implementing robotics training programme in Berhampur,” Mohapatra added.
He further said, “We have decided to bring the annual high school certificate (HSC) examinations as well as Plus II examinations under CCTV surveillance from the next academic session. We are planning to finalize a vendor for installation of CCTV cameras.”
