Odisha continues to reel under severe heat wave condition
Bhubaneswar: Intense heat wave condition continues across Odisha with the temperature recording above 40 degrees Celsius in major towns of the state on Monday.
Reports said Jharsuguda emerged as the hottest place with a maximum temperature of 44.6 degrees Celsius followed by Titlagarh (44.5), Angul (43.7), Talcher (43.6), Sonepur (43.2) and Sambalpur (43).
The Santacruz observatory of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here has informed that the weather will likely be the same in the upcoming days.
Daytime temperatures are likely to stay above 40 degrees Celsius for the next two days across the state, the IMD further stated.
