Odia workers held in Tamil Nadu for killing friend over money dispute


Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu police arrested three odia workers on Monday for killing their friend over monetary issue in Kunnathur village of Tamil Nadu.

The accused were identified as Harilal Dandasena (24) of Bargarh district, Premanandu Sahoo(23) and Rajib Sahoo (22) of Bolangir district.

According to sources, the deceased identified as Budhia (22) of Keojhar district and the accused were working in a spinning mill in Kunnathur village.

As per relevant information, Harilal had borrowed some money from Budhia few days ago. However, when Budhia asked him for money, Harilal attacked Budhia.

Later, Budhia discussed the issue with some co-workers of the mill and Harilal felt insulted for this.

To take revenge, Harilal along with his two co-workers attacked Budhia with an iron rod killing Buddhia on the spot.

On being informed, police reached and arrested Premanadu, Harilal and Rajib under relevant Sections of IPC.
