Norway likely to invest in Odisha


Bhubaneswar: Norwegian Ambassador to India Nils Ragnar Kamsvag met Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik at the state secretariat here on Wednesday and discussed on issues related to economic and health ties between the two governments.

While speaking to the media Kamsvag said that they are looking forward for a healthy tie-up between Odisha and Norway. He also said that they are planning to get some Norwegian companies to invest in the state.

As per sources, with an aim to develop economic relation between the two governments, various discussions were held. The country also ensured the state of every possible effort to boost health ties.

Meanwhile, on his two-day Odisha tour, Kamsvag attended several events held in the Capital city and inaugurated a comprehensive skill lab in the MCH premises of Capital Hospital along with a family care centre at the special newborn care unit (SNCU). He also visited the College of Nursing, in Berhampur, where he inaugurated a Training Camp. Besides, he also visited CIFA located here in the city.
