No one can publish Rafale documents without permission: Centre


New Delhi: The Centre on Thursday said no one can publish Rafale fighter jet deal documents concluded with France without its permission and claimed privilege on it.

The Centre told the Supreme Court that no one can produce them in the court without the permission of the department concerned.

Appearing  on behalf of the Centre Attorney General K K Venugopal referred to section 123 of the Evidence Act and provisions of RTI Act to buttress his claim.

The Supreme Court is hearing the case currently.
