Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday visited Bhanjanagar block of Ganjam district and rolled out several developmental projects.
The CM dedicated three projects worth Rs 21.26 crore to the people. The three projects are the newly-built Bhanjanagar Bus Stand, Special Sub-Jail and Town Hall.
He also laid the foundation stone for 24 projects to be commissioned at an estimated cost of Rs 86.69 crore. Prominent among them are 12 roads for Bhanjanagar Sub-Division, the left-side embankment of Koklaba river, shelters for the urban homeless and three bridges.
The projects are expected to augment civic amenities, road connectivity and strengthen flood protection in the block. Later, the Chief Minister addressed the public at Bhanjanagar.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister visited Boudh district where he inaugurated a slew of developmental projects and laid the foundation stones of others.
