Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Badamba Assembly Constituency in Cuttack district today to inaugurate and lay foundation stones of several development projects.
Patnaik will visit the Badamba Assembly Constituency to launch projects worth Rs 931 crore and address a public gathering.
According to sources, the CM will reach Anant Narayan High School playground located in Badamba at 12.20 pm to launch a drinking water project that will be set up at a budget of Rs 273 crore.
Patnaik will also launch the first phase installation of a mega-irrigation project worth around Rs 225 crore. The project will provide irrigation facility in the drought-prone Badamba-Narasinghpur area.
Narasinghpur Electric Grid along with Sub Grids at Gopapur, Dhobaninala and Maradmukha costing around Rs 80 crore will be dedicated to the public during CM’s visit.
Among others, BJD MP Bhartruhari Mahtab and local MLA Debi Prasad Mishra will be present at the public gathering.
