Naveen to skip Holi celebrations this year, wishes all a very happy Holi


Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today wished everyone a very happy Holi to be celebrated in the state tomorrow; however, he will not be a part of Holi celebrations owing to cold.

“I wish everyone a very happy Holi tomorrow. I will not be playing as I have a cold,” Patnaik said speaking to reporters at his residence Naveen Nivas here today.

He also took to twitter and wished before god to bless all happy life.

Naveen had also skipped Holi celebrations in 2016 too due to the drought situation in the state at that time.

The Chief Minister was also away from Holi celebrations in 2014 due to cyclone Phailin which had claimed 21 lives in 2013.
