Naveen pays tribute to Netaji Subhas Bose, Veer Surendra Sai

Cuttack: “The contribution of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to India’s freedom struggle is unparallel. We all are proud of him,” said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday.

The Chief Minister paid homage to Netaji on his 122nd birth anniversary at Netaji Birthplace Museum located at Odia Bazar in Cuttack.

The CM garlanded the statue of the freedom fighter on the museum premises, visited various galleries and hoisted the Tricolour.

Governor Ganeshi Lal also visited the museum and paid homage to Netaji.

Earlier in the day, the CM took to Twitter and paid tribute to Netaji and Veer Surendra Sai. The CM described Netaji as the son of the soil and said his philosophy will always inspire the countrymen.

Similarly, Patnaik said Veer Surendra Sai will always be remembered for his strong leadership in Sambalpur and revolt against the British rule.
