Kandhamal: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday showered praises on Abhimanyu Mallik, the youth from Kandhamal who is deployed as a scientist Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in Sriharikota.
Patnaik, took to his Twitter handle to acknowledge Abhimanyu’s struggle, efforts, and hard work to bag the job at one of the most prominent organisations of the country.
Wishing him best for his future endeavours, the Chief Minister also described him as an example and inspiration for the populace of the state.

Reportedly, Abhimanyu, a resident of tribal-dominated Simbali village of Kandhamal district, is the son of Japeswar Mallik and Vaidehi.
Belonging from a farmer’s family and studying at various local schools, he completed his matriculation with first division marks.
Later, he pursued a diploma in mechanical engineering from Uma Charan Patnaik Engineering School, in Berhampur.
While he completed his BTech from Institution of Engineers (India) in Kolkata, he earned his Mtech degree from VelTech University in Chennai.
In 2010, he brought laurels for the state after successfully clearing an examination by ISRO and bagging the job at the organisation’s wing at Sriharikota.
