Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday dedicated 35 welfare projects to the public which were executed at a cost of Rs 270 crore in Cuttack.
Attending a convention of Biju Yuva Vahini on the historic Bali Yatra Ground in the millennium city, the CM also laid the foundation for 22 development projects to be commissioned at a cost of Rs 526 crore.
“I am very happy to inaugurate the projects worth crore here, the CM said. Encouraging the volunteers of Biju Yuva Vahini, he said, “Seva (service) bring discipline, Seva bring courage, Seva encourages teamwork, Seva needs hard work and Seva is the supreme religion.”
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of Cancer Hospital & Research Centre at Ratagarh in Barang of Cuttack.
The foundation stone was laid in the presence of Ratan Tata, Chairman of Tata Trusts.
