Mortal remains of matyred Odia jawans reach Bhubaneswar; on way to native villages
Bhubaneswar: The mortal remains of two Odia jawans who were martyred in the Pulwama terror attack on Thursday reached Odisha today.
The bodies of the slain soldiers- Prasanna Sahu and Manoj Behera- reached the Biju Patnaik International Airport here through a special flight. The jawans were paid guard of honour after their mortal remains reached the capital city.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also paid his last respect to the two CRPF jawans at the BPIA. Besides, ministers cutting across party lines, top officials of the State government and police department also reached the airport and paid homage to the departed souls.
Reportedly, the mortal remains of the martyred soldiers are on the way to their native villages. They will be consigned to the flames with full state honour.
