Mortal remains of CRPF jawans arrive amid anti-Pak slogans


Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh)/ Jaipur (Rajasthan): Mortal remains of slain CRPF jawans draped in the Indian flag have arrived at native places amid anti-Pak slogan ‘Pakistan Murdabaad’ on Saturday.

People of Tofapur village in Varanasi received the mortal remains of CRPF jawan Ramesh Yadav with tears in their eyes.

The mortal remains of CRPF jawan Rohitash Lamba were brought to his native place in Govindpura, Jaipur.

Reports said the daughter of deceased CRPF ASI Mohan Lal paid her last respect to father.

The atmosphere was charged with emotions even as massive anger has erupted across the nation over the ghastly attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama.

Media reports said while people paid homage to the martyrs, demonstrations were held across the country against Pakistan. They were demanding  stringent action against  Pakistan for its ‘continuous support to terror groups.’

Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Congress president Rahul Gandhi, other political leaders and Chiefs of Indian security forces paid their tributes to all 40 brave hearts at the Palam Airport on Friday.
