Miscreants posing as patients loot doctor’s house
Nabarangpur: Four miscreants posing as patients allegedly looted money and valuables from a doctor’s house last night after threatening them with sharp weapons.
The matter came to light after the doctor, Pradip Kumar Praharaj, posted at Indravati Government Hospital, lodged a complaint with the police this morning.
According to the FIR, four persons posing themselves as patients entered the doctor’s house last night on the pretext of treatment. Later, they took out sharp weapons and looted Rs 40,000 cash and gold ornaments weighing 50 gms after threatening the family members.
On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case and launched a probe into the matter.
