Angul: Unidentified miscreants looted Angul Indian Bank branch at gunpoint this morning attacking the branch manager. The loot took place at around 10.30 am this morning.
According to reports, around four to five bike-borne miscreants barged into the bank and threatened the employees at gunpoint. They attacked the branch manager and fled with lakhs of rupees from the bank.
The manager was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile police have arrived at the spot and launched a probe into the incident. Eye-witnesses informed that the miscreants drove towards Sambalpur.
The miscreants are suspected to be from outside the state as they were not talking in Odia language.
