Bhubaneswar: The High School Certificate (HSC) Supplementary examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) will commence from today.
As many as 28,000 students will appear for the examinations at 122 centers across the state. Similarly, BSE has set up 54 centres across the state for students appearing the State Open School Certificate (SOSC) Examination.
Although the supplementary exams will conclude on July 14, the examination for Paper II of the State Open School students will continue till July 16, 2019.
While elaborate arrangements were made for conducting the examination in free and fair manner, the Board has asked centre superintendents to ensure complete ban on mobile phones.
Nearly 5.61 lakh students had appeared for the annual Matric exam which was held from February 22 till March 8, 2019. A total of 3, 97,125 students had successfully cleared the Class 10 exam this year.
