Maoists kill one; Set 3 buses, 3 trucks ablaze on Odisha-Chhattisgarh border


Malkangiri: In a spine-chilling incident, Maoists on Tuesday killed a bus passenger suspecting him to be a police informer and torched three buses and three trucks at Dornapal in Chhattisgarh near Malkangiri border.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

According to sources, out of three buses, one was going from Malkangiri to Hyderabad and another from Jagdalpur to Hyderabad.

The armed red rebels intercepted the buses near Dornapal and asked all the passengers to vacate the buses. They dragged a passenger out of the vehicle and killed him. Later, they set the buses afire.

Besides, the ultras also torched three trucks passing through NH-30 during the incident.
