Manoj Sinha inaugurates 3 rail projects in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Union Minister of state for Railways, Manoj Sinha today inaugurated three rail projects including an electrified section between Sambalpur- Jharsuguda .
A Special Passenger Train No 05311 (Sambalpur-Jharsuguda) was flagged off by the union minister through video conferencing from Rail Sadan here today. From August 24, Passenger Trains No 58135/58136 and No 58137/58138 between Sambalpur-Jharsuguda-Sambalpur will run by electric loco on regular basis.
The minister also laid the foundation stone for a railway over bridge in lieu of the Khetrarajpur level crossing gate between Sambalpur- Hirakud and commissioned Wi-Fi operations in Khurda Road junction.
Besides, Sinha is also supposed to attend a review meeting between the Railway department and BSNL later in the day.
