Mahima Mishra lodged in Choudwar jail in Tarinigoda firing case
Cuttack: In a recent development, Mahima Mishra has been shifted to Choudwar Jail from NIRTAR, Olatpur in Cuttack district today.
According to sources, Mishra, the Managing Director of Orissa Stevedores Limited (OSL) was undergoing treatment at NIRTAR and he was lodged to Choudwar jail on Monday.

In response to Mishra’s long-lasting treatment at NIRTAR, the Orissa High Court had asked the state government to file an affidavit in this regard stating the cause of his status.
The next hearing on the Paradip Tarinigoda firing case has been fixed on 23rd April. Earlier, Mahima Mishra’s bail plea had been rejected by the court after dismissal of a Habeas Corpus writ petition filed by him alleging illegal detention.
Earlier on June 20, 2017, the high court had rejected Mahima’s bail plea in the 2013 Press Chhak Bombing case.
The HC had denied bail for Mahima on June 8 in the Paradip Tarinigoda firing case.
