Bhubaneswar: Extending another helping hand to Odisha Government for rebuilding the state after Cyclone FANI devastation, Larsen and Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday contributed Rs 15 crores towards the CMRF.
Whole-Time Director and L&T’s Board member Shailendra Roy, DGM Sumit Ganguly, AGM Prosenjit Roy along with HR & Administration officer Aditya Prasad Badu met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat here and handed over the cheque drawn in favour of Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Mr. Roy also congratulated Patnaik for his landslide victory in Odisha Assembly for the record fifth term and mentioned about L&T’s contribution towards restoration work after cyclone FANI.
It may be mentioned here that L&T had deputed approximately 500 Engineers, technicians, safety personnels who all worked under CESU, WESCO, WBSEDCL, etc. Besides, it had also deployed many equipment and machineries like DG set, Pole Mounted Cranes, Hydra, JCB, Tractors, Excavators, Tippers, Cranes and water tank during restoration work.
