LPG cylinder-laden truck falls into gorge in Boudh, 3 hurt


Boudh: Three persons sustained injuries after an LPG cylinder-laden truck fell into 40-feet gorge in Madhapur area on the National Highway-57 in Boudh district on Saturday night.

According to sources, the mishap occurred when the truck was passing through a hilly terrain near Madhpur area. The driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels and the truck fell into a gorge, injuring three persons including the driver and the helper of the vehicle.

The injured persons were initially rushed to Purunakatak Medical and later shifted to VIMSAR in Burla as their health condition deteriorated. Police have also started an investigation into the incident.
