Kartarpur went to Pakistan due to Congress fault: PM Modi
Hanumangarh (Rajasthan): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Kartarpur is now in Pakistan due to lack of vision of Congress leaders.
Modi took a dig at Congress on Tuesday saying the party will have to answer why this was not done 70 years ago.
In an election rally here ahead of the polls in the state on December 7, he said Kartarpur went to Pakistan due to the lack of vision and sensitivity of then Congress leaders.
He said the then Congress leaders had no idea about the importance of Guru Nanak Dev and had no respect for Sikh sentiments.
The Prime Minister said his party is concerned about the well being of farmers and their problems will be sorted out if they come to power. Modi described the farmers as energy givers and added that they should install solar panels, use drip irrigation and other modern methods of farming.
