Karnataka CM dismisses threat to coalition government

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Wednesday said there was no threat to the coalition government and it is running well.

Kumaraswamy’s response has come amidst allegations of poaching by BJP in Karnataka.

He said he is relaxed and added that keeping in touch with all our (Janata Dal-Secular and Congress) legislators  for their support.

It is worth noting that the ruling coalition partners JD-S-Congress and the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have been trading charges of poaching each other legislators for the past few days.

The BJP, has however, denied poaching allegations.

On Tuesday two Independent legislators had withdrawn support from the coalition government.
